Greetings to the Stingray Family!  The 2007 Summer season has come to an exciting end and deserves to be recapped!  Our team finished with an impressive 44-14 record giving us a 76% winning average.  We placed first at SluggerFest in Cincinnati, and brought home second place in the Classic's Fall Tournament, Fairborn ASA, IUP College Showcase in PA, and GAPPS this seaon.  We finished up the season in Charlotte NC at the NSA World Series where we finihed 5th in a pool of 78 teams. Many games in Charlotte  we came from several runs behind to pull off the victory in the last innings!   Our girls posted 251 runs scored for the year, while allowing only 127.  This team has much to be proud of!

As we look forward to the 2008 season, we have a couple of new faces on our roster!  Welcome Sarah Bush and Katy Luciano to the Stingray Family!  Both are from the Central Ohio area and were chosen from a pool of 66 talented players that tried out for a spot on our team.  Welcome aboard and congratulations on becoming a STINGRAY!

Now for the 2008 season!  We are planning an aggressive season of travel!  We'll kick things off with the Classic's Fall Tournament in October, take a break for the high school season and then hit the road for the summer! We are headed to the Firecracker Tournament in Colorado, CompuWare, our Stingray's Tournament, and potentially the NSA and ASA National Tournaments.  We'll be adding more tournaments as the schedule is confirmed but this is a good start!  We'll have plenty of opportunities to showcase the talented team we have and add some more championships to our resume!

Great players + great coaches + great parents + a great organization = SUCCESS!  We are very fortunate to have them all!

GO RAYS!
